CSR or corporate social responsibility is a term used to describe how companies should be socially responsible to its people, environment, and stakeholders. Companies must adapt to social changes as they arise in order to continue their path of social responsibility.
CVS has a new CSR plan titled CSR 2030 where they plan to focus on Healthy People, Healthy Business, Healthy Community and Healthy Planet. To help serve people better CVS wants to connect with people more efficiently rather online, or more directly through neighborhoods and communities. CVS wants to use their advantage as one of the nations largest employers to provide jobs and drive economic growth through business. CVS is working with different community organizations and working on ways to become sustainable to ensure the health of the planet. On CVSs website they broke down all of the things that they plan on working on, and the plan that they have to make it possible by 2030. I think this is a good idea and its very responsible of the company to continue to goal set to become better even though they are already successful. I think learning this information about CVS makes me want to shop with them more because I know that they are a company who cares about social impact, and they care about the environment.
