For this assignment put yourself in the shoes of a cybersecurity services business that performs cybersecurity audits for organizations that hire you. You are producing the documents you will provide your employees who will go into an organization to help them with their security. You may assume your focus is on small businesses for this assignment.

Make a 2-page handout you can provide a company that hires you that provides a description of your model that explains how this will help them with their cybersecurity program. Think in terms of the various parts of a cybersecurity program that they should have in place. Remember to keep in mind that the organization might not be too technical.

Make an audit checklist that your employees will use for organizations that hire you to help them with their security. Remember that this should include questions that cover the various parts of their cybersecurity program described in your 2-page document.

IMPORTANT NOTE: You may freely borrow materials from other sources to construct your model and checklists, but you MUST DESCRIBE WHERE YOU ARE GETTING THE INFORMATION FROM!!! You want to be able to say to a company thing such as “This framework is based on the NIST Cybersecurity Framework” or “These questions were taken from the Center for Internet Security control guides and the NIST Framework”. This means you DO NOT need to cite a reference for every question but rather provide the sources where you have taken things from. This will also have the benefit of providing some “legitimacy” to your list and model.
