Hi there! So this lab may look long but here is a list of all the sections that you need to focus on. I need help answering all of the questions in the parts that say:
1) Draw a free-body-diagram for the mass moving up and write an equation for Newtons 2nd law of motion
2) Explain how you know what the tension is
3) write an equation of Newtons 2nd rotational law for the large wheel. What is the relationship between aup and @up? (Use the right signs and use frictional torque)
4) Combine your three equations into a single equation with the parameters listed in the lab
5) explain why the angular acceleration .
6) We want to repeat the work
7) You should now have two equations
8) what is your measured value of aup, adown and I? ( Im not sure what this means. You may have to make up a number??)
